Many men believe a big penis will win a woman over. In fact, they also think that having a bigger penis will make her feel more attractive. But does penis size really matter? It has been reported that many women prefer average or small-sized penises and that “the most common mistake that men make is believing that a larger penis is the solution for improving women’s sexual pleasure.”
What is the average penis size? Erect penises vary in length, width, and girth. According to studies, the average erect penis size is about 5.5 inches (14 centimeters) in length. Interestingly, the average woman’s vagina is about 4.5 inches in length when aroused. So, a larger than normal erect penis may actually cause more discomfort and pain for the woman because her vagina is being stretched more than the size of her vagina can handle.
Is there anything that can be done to increase penis size? Over the years men have attempted many methods to enlarge their penises. These include penis pumps, pills/supplements, creams, exercises, injections, and more. There is no guarantee that any of these methods will increase the length and girth of a man’s penis. In fact, one needs to be careful that he does not cause more harm to his penis when attempting to increase his penis size. He should consult with his medical provider first.
Keep in mind that many women do not orgasm through penile-vaginal stimulation. Instead, most women orgasm through clitoral stimulation. Thus, men may need to learn to stimulate his partner's clitoris if he really wants her to achieve orgasm. More about this topic later.
